In the first part of the book, he deals with the general morphology and life-history of the mosquitoes, discusses their relation to disease transmission and gives a resume of the different methods of mosquito control. The latter part of the book deals with the descriptions of the common mosquitoes of North America and keys are given to their identification. This well got-up book is splendidly illustrated and it will be a useful handbook for those interested in North American mosquitoes and malaria control.
